The 4th Vocational Training Conference on OT Cybersecurity, Critical Infrastructures, and IoT was held on February 19, 2026, at IES Virgen de la Paloma, the largest public vocational training center in Spain.
Once again, Delonia took part in the event alongside other industry professionals, with the aim of connecting with students and young people interested in entering the job market.
The fourth edition brought together more than twenty top-level experts in OT (Operational Technology) security, from both professional and academic backgrounds. The speakers shared their knowledge in key areas such as automation, industrial protocols, and risk management in critical infrastructures.
About 300 students from technical degrees, primarily in automation, electronics, and telecommunications, had the opportunity to meet with cybersecurity professionals. The goal of the conference was to bring industrial cybersecurity closer to future technicians, with a practical approach geared towards employability.

Key topics addressed during the event
- The OT cybersecurity sector, unlike the IT (Information Technology) sector, addresses the physical scope of threats and potential damages, while also prioritizing availability in critical infrastructures.
- Regarding the regulatory framework, the industry is still far from complying with European regulations such as NIS2 (Network and Information Security Directive 2). The same applies to national standards like the ENS (National Security Framework), a certification that Delonia, of course, holds.
- The proliferation of cyberattack incidents in OT and IT environments is generating an increasing demand for specialized professionals and adequate resources for the effective management and mitigation of these risks.
Among its services, Delonia offers tailored and fully customizable cybersecurity solutions. We detect threats before they occur, ensuring the integrity of organizations.
